Three ways to organise your household's documents — each leaving something printed behind
From a single afternoon visit to a multi-week programme, Heritline has a session format matched to where your family is starting from.
← Back to HomeHow every Heritline session is structured
Each session follows the same core sequence, adjusted in depth and duration to fit the format. The consistency in method is intentional: it means the printed outputs from any Heritline session are easy to read, even by a family member who was not present on the day.
Pre-session call
Brief conversation to understand the household's document situation and agree the session scope.
Sorting & labelling
Documents laid out, sorted into categories, and labelled using the Heritline naming format.
Output prepared
Printed index, binder, or handbook assembled during or immediately following the session.
Walkthrough & handover
Brief walkthrough so all present family members can navigate the new reference independently.
Family Records Visit
RM 530 per visit
A short companion visit helping a household lay out their personal records into labelled folders and a small printed index. The session is informational and organisational only, with no opinions offered on legal positions or asset matters. Participants leave with a printed index and a small folder set.
- Printed document index
- Labelled folder set
- At-home, one household session
- Bilingual facilitation available
- Confidentiality undertaking signed
Best suited for
A single household that has accumulated documents over time and wants them sorted and indexed in one clear session.
Heritage Reference Workshop
RM 1,250 per workshop
A workshop helping families build a printed reference of where heritage materials live, with a labelled binder for shared family use. The workshop is run as labelling and reference design, not as opinions about specific arrangements. Participants leave with a working draft binder and a labelled cover sheet.
- Working draft binder
- Labelled cover sheet
- Shared family reference format
- Multiple family members welcome
- Group workshop setting
Best suited for
Families — especially adult children with elderly parents — who want a shared binder they can all refer to without relying on one person's memory.
Heritage Records Programme
RM 4,400 per programme
A multi-session programme guiding a family through a thoughtful organisation of heritage records. Covers inventory, labelling, scanning checklists, family-meeting agenda templates, and a printed final heritage handbook. The programme is paced over several weeks. It is educational and archival in scope and does not include opinions on legal matters.
- Printed final heritage handbook
- Scanning checklists
- Family-meeting agenda templates
- Multi-session, paced over 4–6 weeks
- Full inventory and labelling system
Best suited for
Families with a larger volume of records, or those who want a comprehensive long-term reference that newer generations can maintain after the programme closes.
