What makes a document visit different from doing it yourself
A trained pair of hands, a consistent labelling method, and a printed index at the end. These three things save most families months of intention that never quite becomes action.
← Back to HomeSix things our families value most
Sessions in your home
Your documents never leave your house. We come to you, work at your pace, and leave everything exactly where you want it.
Printed output every time
Every session ends with something physical — a printed index, a draft binder, or a complete handbook. Not a digital file. A paper you can hold.
Bilingual facilitation
Sessions run in English or Bahasa Malaysia — whichever your household is most comfortable with, or a natural mix of both.
No documents leave or get copied
We sign a confidentiality undertaking before any session. Nothing is photographed, scanned, or retained by our team.
The whole family can be involved
Workshops and the programme format are designed for multiple family members to sit together — parents, adult children, siblings.
Paced to suit your household
The multi-session programme is paced around your schedule, not ours. Families typically complete it within four to six weeks.
Experience shaped by real household complexity
Our facilitators have worked with households across Selangor — from families with decades of mixed paper and digital records, to households managing documents in multiple languages. That practical breadth means sessions move efficiently through the most common snags: miscategorised folders, undated certificates, documents from institutions that no longer exist by their original name.
Each facilitator completes an internal induction before working with families. The induction covers household sensitivity, document handling protocol, and how to keep sessions within their organisational scope.
What this means for you
- No time lost explaining what a document category is
- Common labelling questions handled without hesitation
- Multi-language household documents managed comfortably
- Session stays within its scope — no overreach
Our process in brief
- Pre-session conversation to understand your household's document situation
- On-site sorting into agreed categories using our labelling format
- Folder preparation and labelling with your household's preferred naming
- Printed index or binder produced and handed over at session close
- Brief walkthrough so every family member present can navigate the new system
A consistent method that produces the same clear result
Every Heritline session follows the same quiet, step-by-step method. The output format is standardised — which means any family member who picks up the printed index for the first time can read and use it without a guide.
We do not improvise the labelling structure on the day. The categories are prepared in advance based on your pre-session conversation, so the session itself is spent on the work rather than on deciding how to structure it.
Quiet, unhurried attention to your household's particular needs
Some families have been meaning to sort their papers for years. Some have recently been through a difficult family event and simply need the documents in order. We adapt the tone and pace of every session accordingly.
After each session, families receive a short feedback form. Their responses are read by the founding team and inform how subsequent sessions are run. We remain reachable by email for follow-up questions in the weeks after a visit.
Service commitments
- Pre-session call to understand your situation

Straightforward pricing with a tangible output at every level
All three sessions are priced to reflect the time, materials, and printed outputs included. There are no add-ons or hidden charges. The price you see covers the facilitator's time, the printed materials prepared in advance, and the finished output handed over at the close of the session.
Families who are not sure which session suits them are welcome to call or email before booking. We are glad to discuss the options without any pressure to choose.
